I'm a newer subscriber and I am still cheering every post. This should be mandatory reading for every single person in America and beyond. I would vote for you today. I'm living on borrowed time in a body that has endured nine years of torture. Make no mistake, American medicine is torture. I'm a white woman, 90 pounds, have six inch wires shoved into my spinal cord to insert a generator and battery under my skin just so I'm not screaming in pain. On top of Dilaudid. I have a front row seat as I watch my friends and FAMILY that are POC receive "care" which borders on criminal neglect. This is how your grandmother is living when you aren't there to intervene. My dear man has needed to actually step between a care provider and me, because the exam is not normal, it's intended to "prove" I'm drug seeking.

Creative soul finding her voice in spite of chronic illness. My illness is similar to MS but just as deadly. I’m currently on hospice care.
